US President Donald Trump is nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize
A Norwegian parliamentarian nominated the president of the United States for the 2021 Nobel Prize, according to a US news site on Wednesday.
The nomination was presented by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, who said that the US President helped broker a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in August and said that he deservedly deserved it due to these efforts to bring peace between the two countries.
It is reported that Christian Tybring-Gjedde is a four-term Member of Parliament who is head of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The US president also indicated that he deserves the award, and this is after Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed won it in 2019.
More than 300 people and organizations have been nominated for this year’s award, and the prize winner will be announced in October of this year.
As a reminder that former President of the United States of America Barack Obama won the award in 2009.
