WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus
The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, called today, Saturday, the G20 countries to ensure a “fair distribution” of Corona vaccines around the world.

And he stressed in a conference that included the leaders of the group via video that “this is the basic condition for containing the epidemic and for a faster recovery of the global economy.”

In the speech published by the World Health Organization, he added that the G20 countries, which represent two-thirds of the world’s population and 80% of the global economy, bear a special responsibility in this regard.

And Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed in his speech during the work of the summit headed by Saudi Arabia the need to ensure that vaccines are available to all, reminding that his country has registered the first vaccine in the world and is waiting for the second and third, and is ready to do its best to cooperate with and supply countries of the world.
