The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said today, Thursday, that it had recorded 45,342 new cases of coronavirus and 1,030 deaths.
The data showed that the total number of injuries in the United States reached seven million and 214,419 cases, while the number of deaths reached 206,402 cases.
Reuters analysis showed that 27 US states out of the fifty states witnessed a rise in new infection rates of “Covid-19” in September compared to August, and Wisconsin came in the lead, with an increase of 111 percent.
North Dakota and South Dakota in the Midwestern states saw a rise in infections by more than 50 percent on a monthly basis, as well as Montana, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Of the states where infection rates fell on a monthly basis, California saw the biggest drop, at 50 percent, followed by Nevada, at 49 percent, and Florida, at 47 percent.
