Democratic candidate Joe Biden clinched the US presidential race on Saturday after voters narrowly rejected Republican Donald Trump’s tumultuous leadership.

Arabic:

The Sultan of Oman “expressed his sincere congratulations to Biden for winning the confidence of the American people and for his election as president for the upcoming presidential term.”

* Lebanese President Michel Aoun

Aoun congratulated Biden on his election as President of the United States, expressing his “hope that in the Biden era, balance in the Lebanese-American relations will return to the benefit of the friendly Lebanese and American peoples.”

* Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

* Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi
