The Spanish capital, Madrid, which is an epidemic, announced on Friday the restriction of the movements of about 13% of its population, with the aim of curbing the outbreak of the new Coronavirus.

The concerned residents will be able to leave their neighborhoods to go to work, see a doctor or take their children to school, according to Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of this district, which has a population of 6.6 million.

Ayuso indicated that gatherings should be limited to six people instead of ten.
