US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo considered that the results of the parliamentary Venezuela elections “will not reflect the will of the people of the country,” and that the electoral process there is “fraud and imagination.”
Pompeo wrote on Twitter: “Electoral fraud has occurred in Venezuela. The results that the illegal regime of Nicolas Maduro will announce will not reflect the will of the Venezuelan people … What is happening today is fraud and imagination, not elections.”
Venezuela's electoral fraud has already been committed. The results announced by the illegitimate Maduro regime will not reflect the will of the Venezuelan people. What's happening today is a fraud and a sham, not an election.

In Venezuela, elections for the unicameral parliament are held, which is the National Assembly, which includes 107 parties and political associations.
More than 20 parties and opposition leader Juan Guaidó refused to vote, while the Venezuelan president expressed his readiness to leave office if the opposition “wins.”
