Sasha Obama, the daughter of former US President Barack Obama, was subjected to harsh criticism on social media, due to a video clip of her on the “TikTok” application.
In the video, which was shared on TikTok earlier this month, Obama’s 19-year-old daughter is shown dancing with a group of nearly 6 friends.
And the user who bore his account name pixiestick222 @ deleted the video quickly, but not before someone else picked it up and shared it on the “Twitter” social networking site, which caused a sensation, according to the American magazine “Newsweek”.

The name of Sasha Obama, a student at the University of Michigan, has been widely circulated on Twitter during the past hours, and thousands of users have distorted her behavior and considered it dishonorable, while others rushed to defend her.
At first, many Twitter users commented on the long nails of the former US president’s daughter, made of acrylic, and then some noticed that many of the young men dancing with Obama were white, except a younger black man standing behind her.
Also, in conjunction with the circulating video, a picture of a woman resembling Sasha Obama spread widely, and some Twitter accounts shared it with a large number of followers, including the electronic magazine “MEFeater”, which wrote: “Sasha Obama gives honey.” There is no confirmation that the woman in the photo is Sasha Obama.
On the other hand, many celebrities defended Sasha Obama, notably the prominent lawyer, Meena Harris, the niece of Kamala Harris, the US Vice President-elect, Joe Biden, who told the attackers: “Keep the name of Sasha Obama away from your damn mouth.”

Former US President Barack Obama presented his new memoir, “The Promised Land” in November 2020, which is divided into two parts, which takes readers in the first part to his childhood in Hawaii and ends with the raid that was launched during his reign on the leader of Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden in 2011, and killed him.
