Bloomberg said that US President Donald Trump discussed the possibility of running the 2016 elections with his daughter Ivanka Trump, and not with Mike Pence.
“Trump repeatedly discussed with his advisers the idea of nominating his daughter Ivanka for the position of vice president in 2016,” the agency quoted the book of Rick Gates, who was Trump’s deputy chief of staff in the recent US elections.
According to Gates’ book, during such a debate, Trump once said: “I think it should be Ivanka. What do you think of Ivanka as Vice President?”

The author noted that, after this question, there was a deep silence in the room. Trump then went on to say, “She’s smart and beautiful, and people will love her.”
Gates’s book is expected to be sold on the market, beginning October 13th.
