Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said she was “shocked” by President Donald Trump’s “horrific” response after federal officials revealed that they had foiled a plot to kidnap her in the November election.
Whitmire pointed out in an interview with “nbcnews” that at the moment of announcing the thwarting of the operation, “many of my fellow conservatives, Republicans and Democrats, contacted me, and they continued to say, Are you okay? How is your family?”, Adding: “This is what respectable people do. Unfortunately, this was not the answer to the White House. ”
Within hours of this Thursday morning interview, Trump told Fox Business: “Witmer wants to become a dictatorship … people can’t stand it.”
