German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced that it is likely for the European Union to register a vaccine against “Covid-19” in December or early next year.
Merkel favors the European Union registering a vaccine
“We depend on registering vaccines in Europe in December or at the beginning of the new year, and after that, of course, vaccination will start,” Merkel said after a video conference with members of the European Union Council.
She added: “The European Commission is currently negotiating with American and European pharmaceutical companies to develop vaccines.”
She indicated that most of the European Union countries are currently considering vaccination procedures, including vaccination of medical personnel and high-risk groups first.
