Rapper Kanye West voted for himself in the US presidential election after a campaign marked by speculation that he might pull some black voters out of Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
And as of late Tuesday, the singer and costume designer appeared to acknowledge that his 2020 race was over. But he indicated that it was not over yet, as he posted a picture of himself in front of an electoral map, saying: “Will Kanye 2024.”
Earlier, West wrote on Twitter: “For the first time in my life, I vote for a president of the United States, for someone I really trust..i.”
West, 43, visited polling stations in a few states, but he did not visit any of the crucial states such as Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. He spent the past weeks instructing his supporters on how to vote for him as a candidate whose name was not on the ballot.
Kim Kardashian, the wife of Kanye West, apparently did not support his election campaign, nor showed any public support for him, and on Tuesday, she re-posted a tweet carrying a message on voter hotlines from Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.
