The Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, announced additional appointments for senior White House staff, with the help of some of his aides who spent a long time in the service in addition to some new faces.
Biden chose Cedric Richmond, a Louisiana congressman to lead the White House’s public relations office.
Biden has also chosen, Steve Richetti, to act as his senior advisor, after serving as his chief campaign strategist for 2020. Anthony Bernal, who was deputy campaign manager, will act as a senior advisor to incoming first lady Jill Biden.
Julie Rodriguez, who served as the political director of the presidential campaign for Vice President-elect Kamala Harris and later joined the Biden campaign as a deputy campaign director, will run the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Dana Remus, Biden’s general counsel, will move to the White House.
Annie Tomassini will oversee the Oval Office operations after I’ve been with Biden for more than a decade in various roles.
