An American pilot threatened to change the direction of his flight from Washington to Phoenix, and drop some of its passengers, who are believed to be supporters of President Donald Trump, in Kansas if they do not act well.
The accident occurred onboard US Flight 1242, which departed last Friday afternoon from Reagan National Airport to Phoenix Sky Harbor.
A video posted on the social networking site Twitter shows the passengers in the cabin shouting “America! USA!” continuously.
Wow. I’m on a plane full of patriots flying from DC to Phoenix and we started chanting “USA” …and the Captain came on said told us he’d drop us off in Kansas if he had to if we didn’t obey their every single rule.

The behavior of these passengers prompted the pilot to approach them through the loudspeaker, saying, “This is the way it will be … It is a 4 and a half hour flight to Phoenix … I will land this plane in the middle of Kansas and drop you there… I don’t care.”
He added, “I will do it if this is what is required, so behave well, please.”
According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the airline said that passengers had refused requests by company employees to wear face masks.
A company spokesperson explained, “At American Airlines, we take the safety of our customers very seriously and appreciate the trust they place in our team to look after them throughout their journey.”
“Prior to departing from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), the pilot on board Flight 1242 issued a declaration stressing the importance of following crew members’ instructions and complying with mandatory face-covering policies,” he added.
The airline said the flight left the airport on schedule and landed in Phoenix Sky Harbor a few minutes earlier than expected, stressing that no problems had been reported during the flight.
