A recent study conducted by the Imperial College London Center indicated that there are additional signs other than those known to diagnose Covid-19 infection.
The study, which was based on swabs and questionnaires collected during the period between June and January, and included one million people, indicated that feeling chills, loss of appetite, headache, and muscle pain, maybe a strong indication of positive corona tests in people who suffer from them.
And according to the British “Sky News” network, the new symptoms can be added to those widely known, and include heat, persistent coughing, loss of sense of smell and taste, or one of them.
And the researchers showed in their study that the possibility of positive infection with the emerging coronavirus becomes higher the more severe the new symptoms.
Headaches were most frequently reported in young adults between the ages of 5 and 17, although they were less likely to report classic symptoms of the disease such as fever and persistent cough.
Loss of appetite was more common in people between the ages of 18 and 54 as well as people over the age of 55, and muscle pain in people between the ages of 18 and 54.
A Reuters statistics showed, on Thursday, that more than 107.39 million people were infected with the emerging Coronavirus worldwide, while the total number of deaths resulting from the virus reached two million 353 thousand and 649.
